INTERMEDIATE WATERCOLOR PAINTING SUNDAYS, 1-4 PM

This class is geared towards those with some painting experience, regardless of the medium. Having fun and getting comfortable and confident with watercolor is the focus. Learn how to leverage the magical quality of this transparent medium while you develop your own individual style. We'll explore specific techniques like splatter, lifting, applying salt, masking fluid or film, glazing and mingling to achieve specific effects. Learn about using Yupo or Rice paper for specific effects. We'll also explore paint brands, brush types and paper options to maximize your success. Your drawing skills will get a workout too, but you'll also be introduced to various methods of transferring more complicated images onto paper.
