WORKSHOPS
August 7-8th, 2025 // 10am-2pm
$200* pp (max 10)
Priscilla Coote has extensive experience with soft/chalk pastels. Let her share her knowledge with you. Pastel can be easily blended and lifted, does not require drying time, and the color of the stick is the color you see on the paper. Day 1 will be spent in the studio learning all about how to handle this fun medium, followed by time in the field (weather permitting) to apply your new knowledge and skill. Pastel works up quickly; most people will have a close-to-completed painting by the end of Day 2. *Includes a $10 material fee for pastel paper/boards for both days, along with access to the Studio's hard pastels. Each student should bring a set of soft pastels with them; recommendations and other info on the supply list, provided upon registration.
