WORKSHOPS

We go outside for this fun adventure with seasoned en plein air painter, Priscilla Coote. Do you get overwhelmed when you’re standing in front of complicated landscapes or sweeping water views?  Narrowing down your subject and deciding how to go about it will be the essence of this 2-day workshop. Priscilla will guide you toward the best approach to create a dynamic painting from the epic vista before you.  You will use the techniques you learn during this workshop as a template for future work.  Studio time will be utilized as needed and is always a backup for inclement weather. Short instructor-led demonstrations will be offered throughout both days of the workshop.  The objective is to develop a process for painting outside that is achievable and rewarding.  Supply list provided upon registration (note: only non-toxic painting solvent, like Gamsol, is acceptable).
